a friend sent this piece to me, and it really resonated with me. i lost my mom a little over a year ago to cancer, and i was struggling because not a lot of people i loved understood the grief i was going through. your writing really helped me - and in more ways than one. it provided me comfort, and also at the time i applying to colleges. i was really stuck on what to write about for my essay, but reading your work gave me an idea. i just want to say thank you!! not only did your work help me get into college, but it also gave me some peace during a time i was really struggling.
<3 thank you for this very special comment. i am so sorry for your loss, and i hope you can remember that she has left pieces in the world around you, and that those pieces will always bring you comfort. congratulations on your college acceptance!! your mom would be so proud of you. so sorry for this late reply but thank you so much again for sharing, your words help me feel understood too. sending much much love!!
it seems that im always seeing myself in your writing, despite being a non-english-speaker i kinda feel you, actually grieving is a part of me that i think will never heal. Im still in this journey after 8 years, it's quite difficult but you embrace it, thanks for letting me know that im not the only one🌼.
<3 thank you for reading!! i'm glad these words can resonate with you -- i think for me i look to the far future and see healing as more acceptance and self-growth (not from the grief, but with it). wishing you all the best on your journey and i'm sorry for your loss. much love
i'm here again :') this is just so beautiful. i could say your writing is one of the things that keep me going so thank u 4 writing really 💓💓 u're amazing
